So what does Giovanni Bellini have to do with it? Giovanni Bellini knew how to achieve the most delicate shades of pink in his paintings, for which he was known.⁠

Let’s make a classic Bellini. It requires only ripe peaches with white pulp and a red center and Prosecco. Now you can find recipes with the addition of lemon juice and sugar syrup. This is just in case the peaches are not sweet enough. ⁠

Invisible Apple Cake is a recipe that originated in France and quickly became popular on the Internet. Its uniqueness lies in the large amount of apples sliced into paper-thin pieces and the minimal amount of batter. Hence the name “Invisible Cake”: there is so little batter that it seems as if the cake is made entirely of apples.⁠

In terms of texture, this cake is somewhere between an apple clafoutis, a very delicate charlotte, and baked apples with vanilla custard. The texture is not dense but soft and tender, almost like a pudding, so do not expect a traditional cake.⁠

The cake can be baked in a loaf pan for a taller result or in a wider round pan for a flatter cake, which tends to bake more evenly. For a more intense flavor, you can add apricots cut into small cubes (Austrian twist😀), or make the classic version using only apples. This idea came to us during one of our trips when we bought ready-made roasted poultry breast and used it to make sandwiches on whole-grain gluten-free bread, spreading it with cream cheese (or mayonnaise) and adding lettuce and vegetables. The result was a delicious, healthy, and satisfying breakfast that could be assembled very quickly. After returning home, I experimented with different ways of roasting the meat until I achieved the same juicy and flavorful result, but without the preservatives and flavor enhancers commonly found in store-bought versions. Everyone enjoys these sandwiches! They also make a great school snack. Highly recommended!⁠

This method works equally well for both chicken breast and turkey breast. I’ll provide roasting times for both options in the recipe.⁠

To achieve a juicy roast that can be sliced like deli meat, it is important to follow all the steps in the recipe, including brining, wrapping, low-temperature roasting, checking the internal temperature, and chilling in the refrigerator.⁠
