150 g of Cashew nuts
50 g of Dates Pitted dates
50 g of Raisins
50 g of Plums dried
50 g of Coconut oil мягкое
75 g of Oat flakes
100 g of Chocolate black 70%
2 tbsp. of Cocoa powder
50 ml of Espresso coffee охлажденный
1 pinch of Salt
50 g of Coconut flakes для украшения
Optionally Caster sugar

    If you’ve tried this Chokladbollar recipe, I’m sure you loved it! And you probably thought, like I did, if you could make them healthier. The answer is YES! And it will make them even more delicious.

    These Chokladbollar use dried fruits, dark chocolate, coffee, and coconut oil. They’re just as healthy as they are delicious!

    The recipe uses some confectioner’s sugar – you don’t have to add it though, dried fruits make it sweet enough. Don’t add it right away – you can add it later if you find your dough not sweet enough.

    You won’t notice the taste of dried fruits here! Use the mix of figs, raisins, and plums like I do to add a sour note to it or use just figs to make it all sweet.

    Process the dates (pitted), raisins, and dried plums in the food processor into a thick paste.
    Finely chop the chocolate.
    Process the cashews in the food processor into a sand-like meal.

    Once the mixture sets, scoop out rounded tablespoons of the dough and roll into 2-3 cm in diameter balls. Roll the balls in the coconut to coat. Refrigerate for 2 hours.
    Serve cooled with hot coffee.
