If you’ve tried this Chokladbollar recipe, I’m sure you loved it! And you probably thought, like I did, if you could make them healthier. The answer is YES! And it will make them even more delicious.
These Chokladbollar use dried fruits, dark chocolate, coffee, and coconut oil. They’re just as healthy as they are delicious!

The recipe uses some confectioner’s sugar – you don’t have to add it though, dried fruits make it sweet enough. Don’t add it right away – you can add it later if you find your dough not sweet enough.
You won’t notice the taste of dried fruits here! Use the mix of figs, raisins, and plums like I do to add a sour note to it or use just figs to make it all sweet.

Process the dates (pitted), raisins, and dried plums in the food processor into a thick paste. |

Once the mixture sets, scoop out rounded tablespoons of the dough and roll into 2-3 cm in diameter balls. Roll the balls in the coconut to coat. Refrigerate for 2 hours. |
