Cooking fish in a dishwasher sounds weird, I know. Though when I came back home a seminar where we learned to make fish and chicken this way, my 10-year-old daughter said – Yeah, I saw it on YouTube!
Keep calm! – it’s safe: we will use securely sealed mason jars (those with a clasp and a rubber ring), meaning no water or detergent can get inside.
This cooking method has 4 indisputable advantages:
- Delicious. Fish is very tender, tasty and healthy, as no oil added.
- Healthy. In a dishwasher, the water keeps a constant temperature of approximately 70C. Which is, on one hand, enough to cook fish, and on the other, to save all its nutrients, vitamins and other healthy stuff.
- Convenient. It takes only 5 min to prepare fish. Tons of variations of spices and dressings. Cooked in such a way fish can be consumed as a single dish, or used as a topping, or a base for sauces, you name it.
- Practical. It saves time and power.
I suggest you cook fish this way. Salmon ends up especially delicious.
You can also cook chicken, though it takes longer so you have to cut it finely and run the longest circle. Fish is always excellent, and a normal circle is enough for it.
I highly recommend!
