It’s a very simple yet flavorful, delicious and elegant recipe for duck legs. Apples go perfectly with the duck, plus they also serve as a cushion in this recipe to keep the duck legs from touching the liquid on the bottom of the baking dish.

Preheat the oven to 240 degrees Celsius. |

Remove the seeds and cut the apples into eight slices. Then place the apples on the bottom of the baking dish. |

Rub the duck legs with salt and pepper on all sides and lay them on the apples with their skins on top. |

Cover the legs with baking paper. Then, cover the dish tightly with tin foil and put it into the oven. |

After the duck is cooked, take it out of the oven and remove the tin foil and paper. Scoop up 1 tbsp of the melted grease and mix it with honey. Smear it on the duck skin and set it under the grill to brown for 5 minutes. |
