This recipe emphasizes the deliciousness of fried dark turkey meat, particularly the thigh meat. You can either bake or quickly fry it, making this dark meat option an excellent choice. The dark turkey meat, it can be said, has nothing to do with its white filet. With its more intense flavor and texture, dark turkey meat is more similar to beef rather than poultry. It also contains twice as many vitamins and minerals, such as iron, zinc, selenium and B vitamins, compared to white filet. Additionally, it turns out juicier and softer when cooked.

I highly recommend it!

Thinly slice the dark turkey thigh meat into 5 to 8 mm pieces and season with salt and pepper. Fry the turkey in olive oil over medium-high heat on both sides.
While the turkey is cooking, slice the onion into half rings. Then, sauté them in the same pan until soft and golden.
