Today is a beautiful summer day! It’s time I told you about Aperol Spritz cocktail. This cocktail is a summer symbol of Vienna and a favorite cocktail of the Viennese (only Hugo, a beloved cocktail of the young, can compete with it). When you see orange lights flashing at restaurant terrace tables, it means that summer has come and Aperol Spritz is being drunk Vienna-wide. The cocktail is made from dry sparkling wine/Prosecco and a bright orange Italian Aperol liqueur.
This cocktail is perfect for summer garden and dacha parties. Invite your guests and treat them to this cocktail and you will get a lovely party!

Since Aperol Spritz is a summer cocktail, all its ingredients, including glasses, have to be chilled. Place them in the fridge for a while. |

It is essentially important to keep the order of adding the ingredients otherwise the liqueur can sink tot he bottom. The order of adding is as follows: Step 1. In a glass, place a fair amount of the ice cubes. They usually take up 1/2 or even 2/3 of a glass. Step 2. Add the sparkling wine/Prosecco. Step 3. Add Aperol Step 4. Add the mineral water or soda. And add a finishing touch – an orange wedge. Serve immediately. |
