An incredibly easy yet most delicious salad! I highly recommend Gorgonzola fans to try it. Warm string beans & gorgonzola salad takes only 10 min to make! The perfect variant for a quick dinner or an interesting complement to a meat dish.

In a large pot, bring some water to rolling boil. Add salt (1 tsp per 1 l).

Fry the cedar nuts in a dry pan. Let them chill and then coarsely chop.

Wash and trim the string beans. Add them to boiling water.

Cook over high heat uncovered for about 4 min. We need beans to be cooked as soon as possible without losing its bright green color.

The cooked string beans should be bright green and still crispy. The point is not to overcook them. Try the beans as you cook them.

Important! I indicated the approximate cooking time as it will depend on the amount of water, on string beans, on their temperature and on the size of the pot you use. So take your cue from the taste and appearance of the string beans and taste to check for doneness.

Strain the beans. Transfer them to a serving bowl and arrange Gorgonzola and half of the cedar nuts on top, add salt. Mix carefully. The Gorgonzola will melt because of the hot string beans.

Scatter the remaining cedar nuts on top and serve immediately. Yum!
