5 heaped tbsp oatmeal
-
3 heaped tbsp oatbran

pinch of salt
-
1 package leaven
-
fruit and nuts to your taste
Directions
Surely I won’t surprise you by saying that oatmeal with bran for breakfast is nutritious, healthy, quick and easy.
It can be prepared ahead and eaten for breakfast with various fresh or dried fruit, nuts and other extras for a few days.
My favorite combinations are: berries and nuts, bananas and nuts, dried apricots/raisins, apples with cinnamon and nuts, chocolate with bananas and nuts.
You may vary the consistency of your oatmeal. I suggest you the recipe for quite a thick but smooth oatmeal. If you like thinner oatmeal, cut down the amount of oatmeal and oatbran (3 tbsp oatmeal and 2 tbsp oatbran for thin porridge).
Be healthy!
