The name and the taste of this dish are exquisite, but it very easy to cook – and that is its main advantage!

I create this dish, as well as any delicious dish, from what I had in my fridge. The other day my daughter and I were having a dinner. She is a big fan of pasta, and I am a big fan of cooking experiments. Some Cambazola cheese and half a can cream were left in the fridge. I might have come across this recipe somewhere, and it came up in my memory or it composed of a few different recipes, anyway, it is a truly delicious dish you can treat your loved ones as well as guests with.

Try my pasta with chicken fillet in creamy blue cheese sauce. You will love it!

Steps

1
Done

Cut the fillet into 2x2 cm pieces, sprinkle with salt and ground black pepper.

2
Done

Cut the onion into small cubes. Cut the garlic in half lengthwise, then slice each half.

Meanwhile prepare pasta according to the instructions on the package.

3
Done

Heat the pan, add some oil and cook fillet until golden.

4
Done

Remove from heat. Transfer the fillet to a bowl. Cover with plastic wrap. Make some holes in the wrap for ventilation.

5
Done

In the pan, add the onion and some oil, if necessary. Cook until golden over medium heat.

6
Done

Add the garlic, cook together for 30 sec. Don’t let the garlic burn otherwise it will make the dish taste bitter.

7
Done

Add wine and stir, scraping the remaining chicken off the bottom. Wine will immediately start boiling and the remaining chicken pieces will come off creating an absolutely delicious sauce base.

8
Done

Let alcohol vaporize. When wine is almost vaporized, add cream. Bring to a boil, reduce the heat and cook for a few minutes until the sauce starts thickening.

9
Done

Add roughly diced cheese and cook for 1-2 min until cheese has completely melt.

10
Done

Add salt and pepper to your taste. Mind that the cheese is quite salty.

11
Done

To the cream cheese sauce add the cooked chicken pieces. Cook together for 0.5-1 min for all the ingredients to be the same temperature. Remove from heat. Let stand for 1-2 min.

12
Done

Meanwhile prepare the pasta according to the instructions on the package. It is desirable, that the pasta should be done by the moment you have finished the sauce. When pouring the pasta through a strainer, don’t shake out all the water, let the pasta be wet. Or reserve a cup of water that you cooked your pasta in. Return the pasta to the pot. Add the sauce, mix, and add some reserved water, if necessary.

How to serve:
