Banana mug cake is a dish for the lazy. Maybe 🙂 But why not have this option in your arsenal as a banana rescue or treat for the kids?

This recipe has no sugar or grain flour, just bananas, walnuts, almond flour and an egg. Almost healthy, one might say 🙂 You can add cinnamon, vanilla, or other spices. Also, try adding some cocoa.

P.S. Since the cake is made in the microwave, the surface remains pale.

Steps

1
Done

Stir the egg with a fork until smooth.
Smash the bananas with a fork into a smooth puree.
Add the mashed bananas, egg and all the other ingredients into the mug and mix it well until it becomes a smooth batter.

2
Done

Place in a microwave oven and bake at maximum power for about 4 to 5 minutes. I bake it for 5 minutes at 800 W power.
Check if it's cooked with a toothpick, it should come out dry. The cake should rise and be tight all over its surface.
Serve it warm and garnish with berries, nuts, or mint.
